What are some high-performance Chevy crate engines?

The LSX 454R, the ZZ 572/750R Deluxe and the LT4 are high-performance Chevy crate engines. These are the three most powerful Chevy crate engines on the market, as of 2015.

The LSX 454R has a displacement capacity of 454 cubic inches, the ZZ572/750R Deluxe 572 cubic inches and the LT4 476 cubic inches. Respectively, these engines can produce 770 horsepower at 7000 rounds per minute, 720 horsepower at 6250 rounds per minute and 650 horsepower at 6400 rounds per minute. All three feature forged steel crankshafts and compression ratios over 10.0:1. Chevy suggests that customers use the LSX 454R only in off-road environments.
