Where is a Viking refrigerator manufactured?

Viking products are produced at one of the four facilities that the Viking company maintains throughout Leflore County, Mississippi. The Viking company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Greenwood, Mississippi, which is the seat of Leflore County.

The Viking Company was established after its founder, Fred Carl Jr., identified critical design flaws related to installation in many of the appliances in his own kitchen. Working with Surjit Kalsi, Carl developed a line of appliances designed for more practical installation. Although these appliances are still manufactured under the Viking brand name, the company was acquired by The Middleby Corporation in 2013.
