Is Vizio a good television brand?

Consumer Reports gave Vizio a "B" grade when the brand's televisions were ranked and graded along with several other TV brands in December 2013. After the survey of existing brands, Consumer Reports concluded that four brands provide better products than Vizio: LG, Panasonic, Samsung and Sony.

The report states that Vizio televisions generally perform well and provide a level of quality that satisfies most television owners. Only the most discriminate owners might have issues with Vizio's quality. Vizio has a low rate of people sending their televisions back for repairs, meaning that the TVs are more likely to be considered "good" by those who own them.
