How do you find volume?
By Forinfos - 09/09/2025 - 0 comments
The volume of a box with height "a" and basal area "B" is given by the formula V = a*B, and the volume of a spherical solid of radius "r" is given by the formula V = 4/3*pi*r^3. Volume measures the amount of space occupied by a solid figure.
For regular solids such as pyramids, cones, boxes and spheres, equations exist that calculate volume based on the dimensions of the solid. The volume of an irregular solid may be found by viewing the solid as a combination of regular solid shapes, if possible, or estimated by approximating the shape of the irregular solid with a similar, more regular shape.
