There are three methods of voting for a dancing team on "Dancing with the Stars," including voting by phone or online via Facebook or on the ABC website, as of 2015. Voters must be at least 18 years old to participate on the ABC website.

According to ABC, voting by phone begins during the shows when they air and lasts for 60 minutes after the shows' conclusions. Voting via Facebook and on the ABC website open when the show airs, which is at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, as of June 2015, and continues for 24 hours. The individual numbers for the couples on the show are given at the end of performances and at other times during the program.
