Wal-Mart offers two college scholarships as of 2015: one for Wal-Mart associate employees and one for the dependents of Wal-Mart workers, according to the Wal-Mart website. Wal-Mart does not offer college scholarships to those who do not have an employee connection to the organization, although it does support other organizations that offer scholarships, including the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and the American Indian College Fund.

To apply for the Wal-Mart Associate Scholarship or Wal-Mart Dependent Scholarship, associate employees and dependents of employees should go to the Wal-Mart website where a form awaits. The program is ideal for employees who are interested in obtaining a degree at either the associate or bachelor level, notes the Wal-Mart website.
