What is the Wanna Get Away fare from Southwest?

"Wanna Get Away" fares are the lowest-priced fares offered by Southwest Airlines. They are not available for every flight, however, and come with some limitations compared to the other fare types.

"Wanna Get Away" fares are not necessarily offered on any given flight, even with extensive advance booking. They are something of a sporadic promotional fare. Members of the Southwest Rapid Rewards program also get less points for booking one of these fares than they do for fares that are priced at normal rates. The other fare types also have added benefitsm such as full cash refunds and same-day ticket changes.
