What is a Wawa card?

A Wawa card is a pre-paid card similar to a gift card that allows a customer to make purchases at Wawa convenience stores. The card works much like a debit card.

To use the card, swipe it at the register when paying inside or at the fuel pump when buying gasoline. The amount spent is automatically deducted from the card.

Wawa cards are transferable and may be bought in denominations from $5 to $250 as of 2015. The cards may be recharged at any store or online. At stores, cash, debit cards and credit cards are accepted as payment for Wawa cards. Online or phone orders must be made with credit or signature debit cards.
