What is the way to become a Maryland resident?
By Forinfos - 07/02/2025 - 0 comments
To become a Maryland resident, a person must either establish a permanent home in the state or live in the state for more than 6 months. Full-time residents are residents who were physically present in the state for at least 183 days of the year. Part-time residents are those who lived in the state for less than 6 months.
A person's official, permanent home in Maryland is typically the one that is used on the driver's license, bank accounts, tax returns and other government documents. Students attending colleges and universities in Maryland should only use their school address if they consider it to be their permanent home instead of their parent's home.
