Is there a way to locate a subdivision if you know its name?

Subdivisions can be located by name using Google Maps. Enter the name of a subdivision or neighborhood into Google Maps and press Search. If the subdivision has a common name, it may be useful to enter the city or state as well.
You can also use Google Maps to create custom boundaries around subdivisions that are not listed. This can be accessed through the My Maps section of the site. Use Google Maps to save locations, find directions, view traffic and create way-points. It is also available as a smartphone application on most platforms. Since its inception, Google Maps has added many additional features, such as 3D maps, indoor views and photos.
