Is there a way to remove paint from fabric with household items?

To remove latex paint from fabric, create a solution of one part liquid hand dishwashing detergent and one part water. Sponge the stain with the solution, pressing hard to ensure it soaks in completely. Rinse and repeat the process until all of the paint clears.

The solution of dishwashing detergent and water works well on washable fabrics, such as cotton. If working on tightly woven fabric, use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Press the cotton swab continually against the stain, moving from the outside in. All of these paint removal procedures work best if the paint is not completely dry on the fabric.
