Property taxes in Wayne County, Michigan are due in July and December each year, according to the Wayne County Treasurer's Office. Taxes that are not paid by the following March are deemed delinquent and may be subject to fines and potential foreclosure.
Wayne County property taxes can be made in person at the Office of the Wayne County Treasurer in Detroit, Michigan, explains the office. Property owners can also mail in their payments or set up payment options online if they are unable to pay the full amount by the July and December due dates. The online payment system accepts debit and credit cards as well as ACH withdrawals from bank accounts.
