What wood and shingle siding is sold by Lowe's?

Lowe's offers wood siding panels made by Smartside and Plytanium. Both brands are available in the standard 4-foot by 8-foot size. Smartside panels are also available in a 1-foot by 4-foot size.

Lowe's also carries its own exclusive brand of 4-foot by 8-foot beige engineered siding and its own brand of cedar wood shingles.

The Lowe's brand and Plytanium brand panels are untreated, while the Smartside panels are engineered and treated. The Plytanium brand has a natural, rough finish. Plytanium is the most expensive brand, and the Lowe's brand is the least expensive brand. The cedar shingles (also known as sidewall shakes) that Lowe's sells are made from western red cedar.
