Dr. Tony Evans is founder of The Urban Alternative, a Christian ministry dedicated to restoring hope through proclaiming and living by God’s Word. The broadcast radio and television ministry aims to share the Word to transform people, churches and communities.

"The Alternative With Dr. Tony Evans" airs every day on over 900 radio outlets throughout the United States and in more than 100 countries. The show also airs on a number of television stations.

Dr. Evans is a Christian minister and the first African-American to receive a doctorate in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is also senior pastor at the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship located in Dallas, Texas.
