The Medal of Saint Benedict is a medal that contains the symbols of Saint Benedict, and it is used in honor of him. It is considered one of the oldest medals used by Roman Catholics. Use of the medal of Saint Benedict was given approval by Pope Benedict XIV in 1741.

The front of the Medal of Saint Benedict contains an image of the saint. He holds a cross in his right hand and his "Rule for Monasteries" in his left hand. To Saint Benedict's right is a poisoned cup that represents his rivals attempt to assassinate him. On the back of the medal is a cross that contains Latin words such as "pax," which means "peace," and initial letters of prayers.
