What would make a boiler leak?

Cracks in the boiler, pressure or temperature too high, and loose fittings may cause a boiler to leak. Some problems are easier to fix than others.
Locating the leak in a boiler can help determine what the cause of the issue is. Some boiler leaks can be fixed with minor adjustments while others will require professional help. The pressure being set too high will cause the pipe to leak. Faulty seals can cause water to seep out. Simply replace the seals and pump to fix the problem. Cracks and corrosion also lead to leaking. This is a serious issue that a professional needs to fix. A loose fitting or joint also causes leaks when the temperature changes. Tightening the joint will stop the leaking.
