Who would win a battle of Vegito vs. Gogeta?

Vegito and Gogeta are both fictional characters from the "Dragon Ball" television series, and as of 2014 they have not fought each other in the series. Who would win in a hypothetical fight is a matter of fan speculation.

Both Vegito and Gogeta are fusions of the same two characters: Goku and Vegeta. Vegito was formed using the Potara earrings, which are magical earrings that merge two people into one. Gogeta, on the other hand, was created by the two characters doing a magical dance. In the video game "Raging Blast," a "what if" scenario exists in which Vegito and Gogeta fight each other. Gogeta wins the first round, but Vegito is the victor in the second.
