What is a yaki weave?

A yaki weave refers to the texture of the hair in the package. Yaki weave texture resembles relaxed African-American or Caribbean hair. It also comes in a natural form or silky style.
When using a natural yaki weave, the texture will appear to be course and thick, and there will also be a visible texture pattern in the hair that resembles straight, blow-dried African-American hair. Those who use a silky yaki weave will notice that the texture is much straighter than that of a natural yaki weave. It resembles hair that has been flat ironed after it has been relaxed.
