The Colts have won the Super Bowl twice, in 1971 and 2007. The Baltimore Colts defeated the Dallas Cowboys 16-13 in Super Bowl V, while the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears 29-17 in Super Bowl XLI.

Hall of Famer quarterback Johnny Unitas led the Colts to its first Super Bowl victory, while Peyton Manning took the club to its second crown. The Colts lost in the club's other two appearances, with Baltimore falling 16-7 in 1969 to the New York Jets in Super Bowl III, and Indianapolis losing Super Bowl XLIV to the New Orleans Saints, 31-17 in 2010.
