What is Zorpia?

Zorpia is a popular social networking service in southeast Asia. It was developed in China in 2003 by Jeffery Ng. As of 2014, it boasts a user base of over 26 million people in China and India, and is notably one of the only social networking services allowed in China

Zorpia features messaging, photo-sharing and profiles available to enrolled members. Users have lodged a variety of privacy complaints against the social networking service from its debut to October 2014. The complaints have ranged from excessive spamming of users to outright email contact book theft and invasive browser cookie theft. The company denies any wrongdoing.
