The AKC/Eukanuba National Championship is held annually at the end of the year in Orlando, Florida. Events at the national championship include all-breed and specialty competitions, the AKC Agility Invitational and the AKC Obedience Classic.The most popular event is the crowning of the new National Champion. The National Champion is crowned after a panel judges how well the dog conforms to the standard of its breed. The event is televised and open to the public to attend.
