What is a 13-digit VIN history report?
By Forinfos - 31/07/2025 - 0 comments
A 13-digit VIN history report, typically used by potential used-car buyers, provides historical information on a particular vehicle. If an older vehicle does not have a 13-digit number, this report it not available.
A vehicle history report, or VHR, is useful because it identifies problem areas that potential buyers need to know. For instance, any accidents that were reported are listed on the VHR. If the car was damaged in a flood and reported to the insurance company, that information is included. Prior odometer readings are indicated and this provides a sense of whether the device is working properly. Any manufacturer recalls on the vehicle are also mentioned in the VIN history report.
