The 2014 Consumer Reports Buying Guide was available on Amazon.com as of August 2015. This book is only available through third party sellers. Most copies available in August 2015 were used and in good condition. Older versions of the buying guide were also available on Amazon.com.

The current year's Consumer Report Buying Guide is available for purchase on the Consumer Reports website. Consumer Reports also has year-specific buying guides for new and used cars, as well as other buying guides such as the “Kitchen Planning and Buying Guide” and “Tech Electronics Buying Guide.” More general guides covering health, wellness, energy conservation and retirement are also available.
