Is there a 2015 Pontiac Trans Am?

Due to the decline in sales and popularity, the Pontiac Trans Am was discontinued in 2002. However, there is a company based in Tallahassee Florida called Trans Am Depot that restores and builds custom Trans Am models. In 2013, this company produced a custom-style Hurst Edition Trans Am that sported a newer chassis design.

The Pontiac Trans Am lasted just four generations before the model was pulled from the market. Even though it was powered by a LS1 engine, the 1999 Mustang still managed to out-sell the fourth-generation Trans Am. Although the car is discontinued, Pontiac has not sold the rights away and there is still a chance for a new-model Trans Am to be produced.
