What is an 80-inch TV?
By Forinfos - 20/05/2025 - 0 comments
An 80-inch TV is a TV that measures 80 inches diagonally from the lower left-hand corner to the top right-hand corner. This measurement starts on the inside of the bevel, or frame, of the TV.
Sizes of flat-screen TVs range from 28 inches up to 110 inches. Larger TVs are better for bigger rooms that have sufficient wall space and provide adequate distance between the television and the viewing area. The optimal viewing distance for an 80-inch screen is between 10 and 20 feet.
Some 80-inch TVs weigh more than 100 pounds, so sturdy wall-mount hardware affixed to wall studs is required to support the TV if wall mounting is desired.
