The MD 80 seating chart is a map showing the American Airlines MD-80 MCE seating configuration. The map shows 16 First Class seats, 30 Main Cabin Extra seats and 94 Economy seats; totaling 140 passenger seats.

The MD 80 is a Boeing aircraft and has an improved interior featuring Main Cabin Extra seats, which are situated at the front part of the Main Cabin to ease deplaning and boarding. The seats have four to six inches of extra legroom compared to a standard Main Cabin seat. The A, B side of Economy class has small overhead bins, but the D, E, F side has extended bins to offer space for carry-ons.
