Based on the 2016 edition of the U.S. News Best Colleges rankings, the acceptance rate for the University of Wisconsin--Whitewater is just over 70 percent. Because of this rate, U.S. News considers it a selective college.
The University of Wisconsin--Whitewater has rolling admissions, so there is not an application cut-off date. There is also no early decision deadline. However, required ACT or SAT results must arrive by May 1. The institution does not use the Common Application, so prospective students must fill out school-specific forms. Admissions interviews are not mandatory.
Whitewater's student population of almost 11,000 is split evenly between females and males.
