Does an African wild dog make a suitable household pet?

Although the African wild dog is a relative of the wolf and the domestic dog, it is unlikely to make a suitable household pet due to its undomesticated nature. In addition, the African wild dog naturally lives in a large pack, which can have as many as 10 members.
