Himalayan kittens usually get along well with other cats in the household as well as with other dogs in the household as long as the cats and the dogs are not overly energetic. While the Himalayan kitten does enjoy playing, it does not appreciate being chased or being disrupted on a regular basis.

The Himalayan weighs between 7 and 12 lbs. and has long hair and a face that resembles a Persian with the markings of a Siamese cat. The Himalayan is loving, quiet, gentle and affectionate. It loves its humans but is not demanding and prefers to wait for others to sit down first so that it can climb into the human's lap.
