What is the Air Jordan 23?

The Air Jordan 23 is the 23rd version of the Air Jordan line of sneakers. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 23 was released in 2008 and features an embossed Michael Jordan signature at the toe in addition to a stitched upper pattern.

Nike produces and sells the Air Jordan line of shoes and produced the first pair in 1984 for Michael Jordan's personal use. The Air Jordan brand became available for the public in 1985, and new variations are released regularly. As of 2015, Nike also sponsors various athletic teams and athletes with Air Jordans, including Michael Crabtree, CC Sabathia, Derek Jeter, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony.
