Who is Aishwarya?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is an Indian model and actress. She was the runner-up in the Miss India pageant of 1994, but went on to win a Miss World pageant.

Aishwarya began her career as a model and starred in a popular Pepsi commercial in India. She would move on to a long film career. Some of her highlights were her roles in "The Duo," "Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya," "Jeans" and "I Have Found It." She was a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival in 2003. She was also the first Indian woman cast as a wax figure at Madame Tussaud's wax museum in London.
