The “I Am T-Pain” app allows users to record their voices singing and then apply T-Pain’s distinct auto-tuned vocal effect to the recordings, creating songs in the artist’s style. Users can then share their creations with friends via YouTube.com or other social media.

The paid app features a range of pre-loaded songs for users to sing over, including tracks by Usher, 50 Cent and Eminem. Nine songs are included for free, and users can purchase other tracks from within the app. Using Freestyle Mode, users can also sing their own songs without backing tracks.
