What Amtrak routes travel to San Diego?
By Forinfos - 07/09/2025 - 0 comments
As of May 2015, the only train line that serves the Amtrak station in San Diego is the Pacific Surfliner. San Diego is the southernmost stop on the line.
The Pacific Surfliner runs from San Diego to San Luis Obispo, stopping at a number of cities along the California coast en route. Passengers who need to travel in a different direction can make the relatively short trip on the Pacific Surfliner to Union Station in Los Angeles, where they can transfer to many other train lines. A number of bus services also travel between San Diego and Los Angeles, including Megabus and Greyhound, although these may be more inexpensive.
