Some of the camera applications that are available on the Android app market in 2014 are Camera MX, Camera Zoom FX, Camera JB+ and Cymera. Depending on how it is developed, each camera app contains functions that can not be found on the stock camera application.

Some of the available programs could be both free and paid, depending on which features are needed. Each program also boasts a semi-unique feature or may cater to a certain niche of users. Camera JB+, for example, is built to replicate most of the basic Android camera features but also adds a small image editor for minor editing.
