Where is Anguilla?

Anguilla is located between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean. Anguilla lies to the east of Puerto Rico and to the north of the island of Saint Martin.

Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory that consists of a primary island and several smaller islands. Anguilla covers a total area of 35 square miles, making it roughly half the size of Washington, D.C. Its coastline spans about 37 miles. The capital and largest city is The Valley, which is centrally located on the main island and has a population of just over 1,000 people, as of 2011. Anguilla has an estimated total population of over 16,000 people, as of 2014.
