What animal has the biggest teeth?

It is unclear which animal has the largest teeth. Hippopotamuses commonly have incisors up to 3 feet long. However, if one considers elephant tusks to be teeth, African elephants would have the largest teeth. The largest known elephant tusk was 11.5 feet long.
In addition to their length, elephant tusks are thick and heavy, with the largest known specimen being 214 pounds. Because tusk size is genetic and poachers target the largest elephants, it is uncommon to find tusks weighing more than 100 pounds. Elephants tend to favor one tusk over the other, similar to humans being either left-handed or right-handed.
