What animal eats ants?

According to Encyclopædia Britannica, the anteater is a toothless, insectivorous mammal that lives in tropical areas of Central and South America and feeds mostly on ants and termites. Featuring a small mouth and a long snout, the anteater secretes copious amounts of sticky saliva onto its tongue to trap insects.
The anteater is usually solitary, although it does on occasion live in pairs. The sharp, curved claws of the anteater's forearms assist in tearing apart insect nests in order to better facilitate feeding and can function as impressive defensive tools. Anteaters may assume a tripod stance, with their tails as support, when threatened.
