What animal eats a mongoose?

The main predators of a mongoose are snakes, hawks and jackals, according to A-Z Animals. Interestingly, certain mongooses in Africa have been found to have a natural resistance to snake venom.

Mongooses are typically found in Asia, Africa and parts of Europe. They are omnivores, which means that they are able to eat both plants and animals. They also tend to adapt to their habitats; some mongoose species have learned to live on the tops of trees, while others have learned to live partially in the water. Different species of mongoose also tend to act differently. For example, some mongooses fend only for themselves, whereas others often act together.
