Which ant killer is safe for pets?

Orange Guard is an organic, non-toxic ant repellent that is harmless to pets and humans. It drives away ants from the areas where they are unwanted. When applied directly to ants, the active ingredient, d-Limonene, destroys the waxy coating of the ants' respiratory system, causing them to suffocate.
Other natural ant repellents include cream of tartar. Pouring lines of cream of tartar at entry points, such as windows and cracks in doors, prevents ants from entering a home. Dried peppermint leaves, paprika, cloves, chili peppers, coffee grinds and cinnamon sticks naturally repel ants and are safe for other pets and humans in the home.
