By Forinfos - 27/01/2026 - 0 comments
The length of an arc of a circle is obtained by using the formula L=?r?/180, where L is the length of the minor arc of the circle, r is the radius of the circle and ? is the angle made by the arc at the center of the circle.
A circle has three different types of arcs. The length of the semicircular arc is obtained by using the formula ?r, and the length of the major arc of a circle is obtained by subtracting the length of minor arc of the circle from the circumference of the circle. Thus, the length of the major arc of a circle is given by the formula 2?r - ?r?/180.
