Are the Armando Montelongo seminars a scam?

There were over 150 complaints lodged against Armando Montelongo and his seminar practices between 2010 and 2013, as well as an investigation into those practices by the Texas attorney general in 2011, claims Forbes. Furthermore, Montelongo's seminar company has received an F rating from the Better Business Bureau.

While no alums of Montelongo's seminars have sued him for his practices, this is in part due to the nature of the contract those who attend his seminars must sign, explains Forbes. Montelongo's seminar company requires each seminar attendee to sign a contract that absolves Montelongo and his staff of liability for the services and advice they offer attendees.
