What are some Detroit auto shows?

As of 2015, Detroit hosts only a single auto show, the North American International Auto Show, which is generally held in January each year. The North American International Auto Show is an exhibition that hosts a variety of new vehicle introductions and is attended by a global audience.

The NAIAS combines five different shows under one exhibition, including an ultra-luxury automotive event called The Gallery, a public show, a charity preview, a press preview and an industry preview. The Gallery is generally considered to be the starting event for the NAIAS and features the world's most luxurious car brands, including Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin and Rolls Royce.
