Who is Liberte Chan?

Liberte Chan is a reporter and weathercaster for KTLA Five News. She has worked as a writer and a weekday morning news anchor in places such as Palm Springs.

Liberte Chan obtained her Master's Degree from the University of Southern California, where her main focus was public health. She also obtained a certification in broadcast journalism from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also got her Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Liberte grew up figure skating competitively in Los Angeles, where she received many victories and high accolades. She began working for KTLA 5 in 2003.
