Flo, the character from the Progressive Insurance commercials, is played by Stephanie Courtney. She also had a notable recurring role as Marge on "Mad Men."

Stephanie Courtney was born on Feb. 8, 1970. She pursued an acting career after graduating from Binghamton University in 1992. She has played roles in movies such as "Melvin Goes to Dinner," "Blades of Glory" and "The Heartbreak Kid." However, her career made a notable turn when she landed the role of Flo in the Progressive Insurance commercials, which started airing in December of 2007. Courtney's character is so popular, that as of Oct. 26, 2015, she has over 5 million likes on Facebook.
