During the USCIS interview, hopeful citizens must answer at least six out of 10 civics questions correctly, according to Immihelp immigration experts. The 10 questions are derived from the database of 100 possible questions publicly released by USCIS.
Applicants must also be able to read and write one out of three sentences provided by the officer in a manner that demonstrates that meaning of the sentence is understood. English speaking ability is gauged by the responses given to the questions asked during the eligibility interview on Form N-500. Following the interview, USCIS will either grant, continue or deny naturalization to the applicant, explains Immihelp.
