Users can ask Google questions using voice commands on an android phone by opening the Google app and touching the microphone icon or by saying "Ok Google." Settings on the Android phone must be set up to use the Ok Google voice options.

In order to turn on the voice search function, open the Google app and tap the Menu icon located in the top left corner of the page. From there, select Settings, Voice and "Ok Google" Detection. From this menu, choose when the phone should listen when "Ok Google" is said. Voice commands can be used for alarms and reminders, entertainment, updating device settings and communicating with friends and family.
