What is Austria famous for?

Austria is famous for its beautiful architecture and the famous composers that lived and worked there. Composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven both resided in Austria.

The country has a long history and it is well-known with tourists for its stunning buildings including Belvedere Palace, which contains paintings done by some of the world's best artists. Austria is also home to a giant Ferris wheel, many amazing museums and scenic parks. Coffee houses and wine taverns are also hallmarks of the country. With a diverse culture and so many musical venues in most of the cities, Austria has become known as a "musical metropolis."
