What are auto junk yards?
By Forinfos - 21/03/2026 - 0 comments
Auto junk yards are businesses that buy decommissioned and wrecked or totaled cars to dismantle them and sell them for parts or as scrap metal to recycling companies. Junk yards sell auto parts at a significantly lower price than other businesses in the same industry.
There are two types of junk yards, including "you pick" and full-service establishments. In "you pick" junk yards, customers have to bring their own tools and disassemble a vehicle in order to obtain the parts they wish. Full-service junk yards remove the parts themselves and deliver them to the customer, usually at an added cost.
