What is the average price of a used Triumph sports car?

As of January 2016, a used Triumph sports car ranges from $3,000 to over $80,000. The model, age and condition of the car all determine the asking price.

The British Triumph Motor Company formed in 1885, started by Siegfried Bettmann as a bicycle company. In 1887 Moritz (Maurice) Schulte joined him. In 1889, they started making their own bikes. In 1930, they decided to produce expensive cars, since they could not compete with the larger automakers, and in 1934, Donald Healey designed engines for them.

The Triumph name disappeared in 1984, and the trademark of the name is currently owned by BMW.
