According to the same data set from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, males between 20 and 29 had an average weight of 183.9 pounds, while females in the same age group had an average weight of 161.9 pounds. Females between ages 40 and 49 had an average weight of 168 pounds, while men of that age averaged a weight of 200.6. Men between ages 50 and 59 had the highest mean weight of any age group.
